Tonight my wife and I went to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend. They had all kinds of Japanese books, toys, trinkets, fans, etc…. we had a blast looking around at all the vendors. My wife found a very interesting book called “Everyone poops”, I guess all cultures have that in common. One of the main booths had lanterns and Tanzuka slips you could purchase in remembrance of departed loved one’s. We had two, my grandpa, and my wife’s father. At dusk they set them free all around on the lake as part of a ceremony, it was a beautiful sight to see.
