While I was shooting Evelyn and Mike’s engagement photos at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens in Coral Gables, I quickly realized how much they smile and laugh together but most importantly at each other!

On the day of the wedding, everything about Evelyn was perfect!  She was gorgeous, elegant, and her uncontrollable smile never stopped!  The only photos she’s not smiling ear to ear in are the ones that I instructed her not to.  Mike was “Chillin like a Villain” and super excited about finally seeing Evelyn for the first time later on at the ceremony.

Note to photographers shooting at First United Methodist Church in Coral Gables:  Remember to bring your 70-200mm lens as your closest shot will be from the rear balcony the entire ceremony!

Intimate weddings are always…..well…..intimate! Lisette and Rob had only invited 40 guests and when a handful of them couldn’t fly due to bad weather up north, their wedding was super intimate! The outdoor beach ceremony was very emotional not only for the bride, but for the groom as well. Who said “Real Men Don’t Cry”? I may have shed a tear behind the camera watching them tear up with joy and excitement on their big day! Congrats to both Lisette, Rob and their family!

“What happens at Mizner Country Club stays at Mizner Country Club“! There was 10 hours of craziness that went down, but I couldn’t let it go to waste, so I’ll recap.

- The weather forecast was AWESOMENESS!
- Jennifer (bride) did a top secrete session while getting ready only to be viewed by Mark (groom)!
- Emotions were at def-con 5!!!
- Jennifer was a gorgeously sexified bride!!!
- The groom was super chill and relaxed
- The Best Man kept grabbing everyone’s ass in formals, but all were smiling
- Jennifer crash landed on the dance floor
- Deep dark secrets were almost revealed at speeches
- Brides Dad made a special appearance on the dance floor, luckily no casualties!
- Everyone had a unbelievably great time!
- The end of the night was a little nipply

South Florida has some of the most amazing boutique hotels in the states, and the National Hotel is definitely one of them located in the South Beach area of Miami. This art deco style palace is a surreal destination that hosts the most exquisite indoor and outdoor weddings from around the world! Boasting spectacular views of the ocean and the famous 205-foot-long “Infinity” Pool, their beautiful gardens are the perfect location for poolside ceremonies and receptions. They also have an elegant Art Deco style Oval Room that is ideal for romantic receptions, and an intimate Martini Room that offers a more private dining room ambiance for smaller functions. All in all, it’s definitely a hotel that should be on your “Cool places I have to visit” list, even if you’re not planning on the tying the knot!

At the end of the National’s infinity pool is where they hold most of the outdoor receptions.

I had the chance to meet the one and only Jamie Lipman (Catering Sales Manager).  Now this girl knows how to host an event like no other!  In a nutshell, Jamie’s a wonderful, sweet, funny, caring, and super friendly person!  After meeting with her for only a few short minutes, it felt like an eternity, and it reflects on how successful her events are as she spends tons of personal attention to all her clients.  She’s also a huge Gators fan.  Go Gators!!!
