This was the first time I had shoot a maternity session so close to a mother’s due date (4 days before her due date actually). But Kristen was all about having her maternity session even though she was in the last few days of her pregnancy. They both looked great, but I must say that she looked absolutely stunning, with a glow about her that would light up the Brooklyn Bridge on a cold winter night. This is going to be their first child, they will be welcoming a little girl (Jordan Marie) into the world very shortly.

So my wife is about 7 months pregnant and looking awesome. To be honest I think she looks down right smokin’ HOT! That’s probably one of the many reasons why I married her. She has a great sense of style, and seems to still have what it takes even with her belly growing by the day. It’s amazing that we met close to 10 years ago when she was down from NY visiting her family, and how we have both matured into soon-to-be-parents. It was such a cool experience, before we were married, Kristy said to me, “Honey are we old enough to get married, I still feel like we’re young kids”? And after that when we bought our first condo we said “Do we really own a condo, it feels like were just playing house”? And now that we’re pregnant and having our first child, we say “Are we old enough to be parents”? Well time sure flies by, and these life experiences are memories forever. Both Kristy and I can’t wait to be parents, and I’m sure one day we’ll say, “Are we old enough to be grandparents?” lol. A huge thanks goes out to my good friend Alex Rodriguez for making this maternity shoot a memorable experience that will last for years to come.

We shoot Melanie & Jim’s Maternity session last Sunday, which was very chilly, rainy, and windy, but we managed to pull it off without getting wet or blowing away, ha ha ha. This will be their first child, and her name will be Lily, which my wife loves, and has already nick named her “Little Lil”. We had a blast watching them play on the swings, shooting down the slides, riding on frogs, kissing behind the trees and making monkey faces. Its great when we can act like kids again, cause deep down inside we are all big kids, just grown up. These soon to be parents are a super beautiful couple that are going to have an incredible family soon. Congrats to the both of you….

This is one of my favorites.

Last weekend was my first time combining a Maternity & Family photo shoot into one.  Rachel and Joe met at a local church in South FL, and was love at first sight. Little did they know what path God would have mapped out for the both of them. Soon after being married, they had their first boy. Everything was going great, and then it only got better with their second boy. Little did they know, right after the second, there would be a third. We all thought, “I think that’s probably going to be it, at least for a while.” Three beautiful healthy boys, what more could you ask for?? We’ll they didn’t have to ask, they are now 7 months pregnant with yet another boy. These two are awesome parents, and their kids are wonderful, beautiful, funny, & energetic. They turned Kristy and I into little kids instantly when playing with them. It was a blast shooting them today. What a blessed family!!
