Monday was Tyler’s 1st birthday, and all his friends and family were there to help celebrate the big event. The Nemo themed party was perfect for this birthday considered it was right near the ocean at Carlin Park in Jupiter. The roof covered pavilion they had reserved kept us cool while the kiddies battled the sweltering heat on the sand filled playground. After everyone chowed down on the delicious BBQ Jerry had cooked, they gave Tyler his very own birthday cake to do as he pleased, and boy did he go to town on that thing, hands, fingers, nose, mouth, and even feet were covered with cake. The party was a hit, and all the preparation that went into it was well worth it in the end. Enjoy the pics……

What comes to mind when you hear “Miami Beach”? You think: outdoor dinning, great weather, palm trees, mixed drinks, delicious food, and good company, right? Well thats exactly what last Friday’s super cool evening was all about. The casual island style decor was perfect for this South Beach rehearsal diner with tiki torches, tropical floral arrangements, & beach location. I must say the deserts looked so tasty I almost took one for myself.

Baby showers used to be for women only and in passing time it has evolved into what they call a “Jack & Jill” baby shower. Don’t ask me how this has come about but I kind of like the idea that the guys aren’t being left out of all the fun. I mean, it doesn’t get much better then watching a bunch of women gathering around to watch thier pregnant friend open up gifts while playing “baby shower bingo”. Now on the other hand the great part is all the good food and drinks you get to enjoy, not to mention cake and candies.

Half way into the shower it started to rain, and at one point pretty hard, I guess if your superstitious you could say it was a true baby “shower”. Maybe a little good luck?

It was a great time, and Melanie is blessed with so many good family members and friends that will help her along the way in the beginning months after Lily is born. Kristy and I are very excited to meet the new addition to the family.
