If anyone tells you yoga’s for wussies, think again! Sasha Woodard is an amazing yoga instructor that wanted to update her portfolio with the latest yoga moves she teaches. Seriously, while I was photographing her I couldn’t believe some of the moves she was pulling off. Its pretty crazy to think our bodies are capable of this and how it brings peace and tranquility at the same time. Now for me it would bring lots of pain and discomfort, but lets not go there!

Sasha lives in Denver Colorado with her husband and two sons! She loves family, the outdoors, living life to the fullest, and has plenty of crazy stories to tell at any given moment. You can visit her yoga blog to check out what shes up to.

This was the most amazing move of our session!  I was cringing while taking this photo!

Yoga is also known to help move things around internally to help get toxins out!

It wasn’t until after I post processed this photo that I realized how you can truly become one with your surrounding.

Since day one I’ve always had a love for being around water. From my younger years as a kid playing in the rain to surfing the warm waters in Costa Rica or doing cannonballs in our pool, I just love the water. So when Brody was born, we knew that the apple wouldn’t fall far from the tree, and it didn’t!

At 6 months old we started talking Brody in the pool or the beach and every time he made a run straight for the water. It was like he was possessed and the water was calling him, and all he could do was run right towards it! We had discussed that we wanted him to take swim lessons, but wanted to find someone that REALLY taught him how to swim (or survive if he fell in a pool). Friends of ours referred Julie Gross of “Swim with Mr. Blue” and that’s who we went to go see.

Now don’t get me wrong, the 5 day lessons are intense and it was very hard to watch, but in the end it is priceless. Now, if he were to fall in a pool, he could swim to the side, pull himself up and crawl (choo-choo) to a ladder/step to get out. I got the video to prove it! This video is his 5th day of lessons, it was amazing!

At the end of each wedding I shoot, I usually feel like I’m a part of the bride and groom’s family. It’s one of the best feelings in the world, when they have let me into their world for one day to get a glimpse of a moment that will last a lifetime! Liz and Kyle’s destination wedding landed them at the Harbor Beach Marriott Spa and Resort in beautiful South Florida.
